Very few cities host competitions of this caliber and we are honored to be among them. We are also pleased to announce the appointment of our new Artistic Director, Santiago Rodriguez. Recognized as one of the finest pianists in the world combined with his vast experience judging in international competitions, Mr. Rodriguez brings exceptional expertise to the Florida International Piano Competition. The Florida International Piano Competition is committed to broadening pianistic excellence while expanding involvement of our community.
We are pleased to announce the 1stYoung Artist Piano Competitionis slated for 2013 and will include many gifted young musicians from the Central Florida region. They will compete for the opportunity to win cash prizes and perform at the 3rd Florida International Piano Competition and Festival.
